Gantala Press believes in paying contributors for their work. In order to afford to give a modest honorarium to the contributors of its first book, Gantala Press partnered with Uno Morato Bookstore along Tomas Morato, Quezon City for a series of art and literary workshops in April and May 2016. The workshops were:
Basic Creative Writing with Rae Rival
Basic Photography with Vivian Nocum-Limpin
Bookmaking with Bebang Siy
Ikiran was later brought to the Philippine High School for the Arts in August 2016.
