“Tiempo Muerto” by Rae Rival

Gantala Press collects poetry by Filipina women, for women. We are specifically interested in poetry written by “non-professional” or unpublished writers and poets — peasants, workers, students, etc. — in any Philippine languages. If you would like to have your poem published on our website (for possible inclusion in our future print publications), please send your poem, with a translation in Filipino or English, to gantalapress@gmail.com. We are unable to pay an honorarium at this point, but authors of accepted works will receive a book of ours of their choice and other small gifts!
